I loved the way that we showed backbone and came back to win our last game. Our defense, while still not having enough playmakers, gave it their all and made ASU settle for enough FGs to give us a chance. Our offense started clicking and perhaps we keep the train rolling this week. Our kicker made a pressure-packed FG right at the end. We didn't back into the bowl game, as another poster aptly put it.

I know those down on the program will bring up issues such as our record against the other California schools, but I'm enjoying pulling for a winning team once again. Onward and upward.

If we do turn into a program that gets some wins against USC/UCLA/furd and starts contending for Rose Bowls again, people will point out the above as our turning point.

Well put!! fucla was a team picked to contend for a conference and national title. We win and we get 8 wins just like that "powerhouse." I'll be so happy to see the program finishing off the year with 2 wins and heading into the final recruiting push and offseason workouts with a good feeling and momentum!!! Go Bears!!!!!
