If Goff does leave as everyone expects, wonder if Dykes (with his Texas roots) reaches out to Davis who announced he is transferring and doesn't have to wait a year to play. Had some success with the Red Raiders prior to this year...

I don't think a pro-style QB is right for this system. The QB has to be able to move a little, run some, etc.

like goff....yeah....k.....

I mean in theory I agree that a mobile guy is probably optimal, but it's not like goff was particularly mobile. he's slippery like say rothlisberger.

Saying he's interested in the pac-12 does not necessarily mean Cal.

Utah and Arizona have developed a virtual non-stop pipeline for highly rated D1 transfers.
Utah's program would almost crumble without the ability to get college transfers.

Utah is intriguing as they will need a new QB. Though isn't the old UW QB there now? Dunno who else's they may have. AZ has a QB for a couple more years anyways.

What about ASU? Who do they have behind bercovici?

Kyle went to California High School in San Ramon and then Washington State. He is a member of the Football Writers Association of America and Basketball Writers Association of America.

The disrespectful comments are unnecessary, SonofCalVA.

Webb is seriously considering Cal and has been in contact with Coach Dykes. If this happens, I see a 10 or 11-win season with our defense improving.

Coach Dykes is an amazing quarterbacks coach. Imagine him transforming Davis Webb, a pocket passer, into a quarterback who can run the Bear Raid. With some strength and conditioning workouts and commitment, Webb and Coach Dykes could transform the college football landscape.

As the draft gets closer and people watch Goffs film and read about him his stock is starting to shoot through the roof. CAL is going to get some good QB and wr recruits :-)

"Davis Webb still up for grabs. Texas, Cal looks to be the top two teams right now. Again, Florida’s not pursuing Davis Webb hard. He’s a guy that comes in in the summer."
