not too hard to choose this year. espn keeps writing doomsday scenarios for the 4 team, 5 conference playoff, but seem like no issue the first 2 years.

It's hard to pick 2-loss teams over 1-loss teams (and even undefeated, as you mentioned Clemson). There better be a really good reason.

Watched some of the second game:
I reiterate (or is the "re" redundant, and I merely iterate) the above!
Hell, even Oregon nearly knocked off MSU at their place before Oregon even had a quarterback.

Four team playoff and none of the teams are worthy, except maybe Allybamy which may be above mediocre, but not by much.

By ignoring the Pac-12 they not only screwed the Pac-12, the selection committee screwed their own opportunity to see some exciting football. It's all bullshit.
