I did a really cool hike on MLK Jr. Day where I had to challenge myself to free climb some sketchy, brittle rocks to get to the top in the Waimanalo area of Oahu. To this day it may have been my most challenging hike, and I still have a great feeling of accomplishment. It was really the perfect day, and all was well. After summiting, I got a text from my buddy that Mr. Lupoi was bolting from our program, and that the Cal Gang may be blown up. Man, has it only been 4 years? Where were you on this special day?

Wow, 4 years already? I remember going to the zoo with my fiance then (wife now) and then reading about the apocalypse after the trip. But what I remember the most, is that the day after on my way to work, I got in a car accident and broke my femur. Took me out of work for 3-4 months and quite a life event.

Like a skunk that's been under your deck that left a week ago but the stench lingers on.
What I was doing that day was a radio interview on Seattle Fox Sport station with the Dawgman crew, who managed to contain their glee about the move -on air, at least.
That day, I thought they'd still be able to hang on to a lot of the class but the situation eventually devolved into the mess that end ended up becoming.
