I don't think the 9ers are going to take a QB. If they hired anyone other than Kelly, they probably would. If you look at the draft order, other than Cleveland, there's no one else in the top ten that need a QB. The Rams at #15 are the most likely spot that a QB will be selected. There's no way the Rams can jump 14 spots to #1, unless they pull a Mike Ditka and try to trade all of your draft picks.

Goff could go anyhere between #1 down to the lower-middle of the first round. As far as the #1 pick, there is not much of a dropoff between the top 10 draft targets, so it's not going to be worth overbidding for the #1 pick, teams will draft for their top position priority.

For Kaep, he's pretty expensive but I would guess a good fit for Chip's system. If i were running the 9ers, I would force him to take a big pay cut and keep him as the starter, ultimatum of $6-$8M next year or he's out.

Look out for Dallas. Wentz may be more ready for a pro style offense right now than Goff, but Goff is the better (read more accurate) QB, and the Cowboys want to have an understudy for the aging Romo for a year or two (Garrett understands QBs). They can offer Tennessee a low 1st round pick and some other consideration that won't break the bank, and get ahead of the Browns for the ButteBoy reboot in Goff.

Other than being physically gifted, Kaep is a terrible QB for Chip's system. You need a QB to make quick reads and throw accurately, skills that are kryptonite for Kaep. Would rather roll with Gabbert now and draft a QB either to start year or for the future

Kaep can throw accurately to stationary targets. He sucks at hitting a moving receiver in strides.

If you include hitting a guy in the shoe laces then yeah.....

A good coach like Chip Kelly knows how to adapt to the skillset of players he's got. He will have Kaep's receivers stand still downfield, and raise one foot to waist level.

Titans won't trade below the #3 or #4 spot. They need OLine help and Tunsil is their guy. They have a solid DLine so Bosa isn't their need, keeping Mariota upright is their only priority.

Kaep looked good at QB in college at Nevada--Chip could make him look good--running a lot and throwing deep (getting some WRs with speed is the need--plus a few more running QB back-ups off the scrap heap).

Please let it be so. Goff would be better off with a team without an immediate need for him to step in and play. Dallas would be a nice landing spot for him.

Browns release Manziel, so they will definitely draft a QB. Either Goff, Lynch or the upstart NDSt Qb Wentz. Clearly Goff is the best but I wouldn't trust that franchise to make the right pick...

Yep. It would be really cool to see him take snaps from Mack, but the Cowboys would be the best thing for him and his career.
