Wells Fargo and B of A should be ashamed of themselves.

No, BofA's team is going to The Super Bowl.

Also, there's a Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe and Des Moines.

Why BofA? A Charlotte firm should have naming rights in CA?

If the franchise ever hits a downturn again, they won't continue to sell out the games in S.F. like they did in Oakland.

UW's basketball arena was BofA Arena and then became Alaska Airlines Arena, demonstrating that the Huskies will whore themselves out more than anyone.

Boeing Arena next? oops, that would be for Northwestern as Boeing moved a while ago to Chicago.
But fuskies could go for Starbucks or Costco or Amazon or Msft ...

My take: in Oakland the Ws will always draw, win or lose. They always have. I remember even the Cohan W's drew very well. In SF, ticket prices will be significantly higher (LA and NYC prices) and I'd guess that increase means more bandwagoners. So if they don't win going into SF, no they will not continue to sell out.

Also new lawsuit was announced last week. It might take longer to get to SF than previously thought.

Totally agree and I think the location they picked sucks donkey nuts. I was OK with an arena closer to downtown. Although flawed, the location on the pier seemed like it could work. However, the location they settled on was a very poor alternative. It is probably faster and easier to get from the financial district in SF to Oracle Arena than it will be to get to the new location.

There is poor mass transportation and limited parking. The team will lose it's core fan base and it will become as sterile as the new 49er mistake in Santa Clara.

Better off staying where they are.

How cute. You guys think the owners actually give a crap about fans.

Upper row tickets cost me like $28 a few years ago, now I can't seem to find any less than $140...can't wait to see how much they will be in SF.

Indeed if anyone was paying attention to corporate sponsorship in memorial stadium, the same goes for this move.

What do you think will happen to the current arena in Oakland? Could Oakland/Alameda County decide to enlarge the stadium for the benefit of the Raiders? I ask this, because I don't want the Raiders to come to L.A.
