I was afraid of Utah since they had only 1 DB commit out of 22 whereas we have a lot of DB commits. Glad we have the commits we have now.

aside from UCLA and Stanfurd, who else in the PAC can offer similar academics? and both of those schools are recruiting at a higher level than us. hardly surprising?

Between the DBs in calgang15 and now the five in calgang16, we seem to be in good shape, finally.
Our new ones (after LOI) have pretty damn good credentials.

Db depth is better no more are we in dire need of staring a true freshman

If a true freshman plays db he is just that good not cause there is no choice

Probably someone with real life experience. I watched an illiterate high school graduate go from a clerk to head of Contracts for a major DOD command in six years. He got a paper degree and had 'connections' and bypassed a lot of experienced, well educated, managers who could actually read and write. In retrospect his attitude was sort of like 'the Donald', even if his education wasn't. In many organizations, after you get in, the school doesn't matter; behind the scenes games are more important; didn't have any classes in those at Cal, way back when. Playing college football at a successful program is a major leg-up, military or private sector.
