Jones joining Cal recruits Tate Martell and Chase Garbers as Elite 11 Finals invitees. Myles Brennan also invited but he was offered by previous OC Franklin and subsequently committed to LSU.

If I were an A-M fan, I wouldn't feel good until I saw another Heisman. The quality of QB's that they lost was criminal.

Mac Jones doesn't sound like the name of someone who would go to Berkeley. Kentucky, Bama, Florida, A&M yes. Berkeley no.

Those sound like pretty typical names that could be anywhere in the states. Although Jack Goff sounds San Fernando valley.

We have a window to gather top players at many positions due to Goff, Dykes and Spavital. It is heady stuff...

QBs pick by offense- scheme, coaches, o-line, receivers and results. Goff as #1 draft choice at his position in NFL. Why would he go to Kentucky or A&M? plus we've got Chinese and Chinese food totally covered...and his name is perfect- Mack truck runs over Stanfurd...hits SC, pulverizes Bruins, etc.

Also noted earlier, he attends Bolles School, which produced academic All-American, NCAA champion, future Okympic swimmer Ryan Murphy who has thrived in Berkeley. Bolles tuition is in the ball park of out of state Cal tuition.
