I have a small bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label and was wondering if others drink it neat or on the rocks. I drink my single malts neat and my blended Scotch on the rocks. However at nearly $200 for a fifth I am not sure how it should be consumed.

I drink it either neat or with one rock to open it up.

I'd most enjoy that with whiskey stones to chill slightly but not dilute.

Drink however you'd like but I'd recommend neat or with a splash of water. Too much ice will dilute the quality. I have both a Pappy's 15 and 20 year ready for a family celebration in October, and I would never drink those on the rocks.

Neat. Would never drink this on the rocks or with water, but I feel similarly about all whiskeys that aren't cask strength. Agree that's just a matter of taste. This is one of the all time great blended whiskeys. It's a real treat.

You have a high tolerance for Cal football. First turnover or first time we are behind and I won't be asking any drinking questions I'll just start right in. FWIW, I prefer my bourbon from the bottom shelf of wherever I'm shopping. That brand can always be 'enjoyed' on the rocks, neat or shotgunned right from the bottle.

Was in Sweden last week and stupid me had a glass of JW Blue for....$40... It turned out... And carefully measured as to not over pour....the government there distributes and controls the liquor. I should have known better as I partied with many Swedes in Greece...

Then went to Holland and saw a bottle of JW Blue at Schiphol Airport for $170. Bought JW Gold instead for $70 and had it with my brother there.

One large rock of ice I drink it with along with a nice cigar when possible...

The glass matters too.

Because of you guys, I bought a bottle of Blue Label online. Luckily, I found it for $150 + $20.01 shipping from a place called Ludwigs Fine Wines in San Anselmo. Any of you guys know that place? Price is so good that I'm a little worried.
