Although Rodgers does not state Cal during the recorded pre-game player intros, he references Cal both in Packer practice to his Stanford teammates and to the media. the slight you perceive from Rodgers is all in your heads.

That's where I stand on this too. He reps Cal in other ways, and it's OK IMO that he also likes to rep his hometown. Plus, as a football star / public figure, he's got everything you want. The way he's handled various controversies over the years -- from the Brett Favre being an a-hole to him/retirement drama, to the recent drama created by his brother, to the CONSTANT internet rumors that he's gay, to the smack-talking and disgruntled ex-receiver Greg Jennings, to the ridiculous attacks on him by court jester Skip Bayless -- he's all class. Not to mention he's an intellectual (see impressive Jeopardy win and claimed SAT score.) Loved when he called out that Green Bay fan for yelling "muslim's suck" during a moment of silence. He's hard NOT to like even if I'd had no connection to Cal.
