Of course this exercise is limited to the period that the AP poll has been in existence, hence the 1936 cut-off.

82 - nowadays yes, when we were at Cal, not so much. Nice response though.

At least we weren't one of the teams ranked behind #77 Santa Clara.

If Santa Clara made the list, St. Mary's couldn't have been too far out of the top 100.

Seems like some teams may be getting screwed, based on when their programs were stronger.
