Isn't it hard to get used to driving on the wrong side of the road? When crossing the street, you need to look right, then left, then right.

GO BEARS!!!

Aussies don't do it. Hawaii and Cal got no where with the promoters and are sponsoring their own joint tailgate.

OK, so now it makes sense - In the US, they don't serve alcohol in the stadium, (most college students are under the minimum drinking age of 21), so you have to tailgate if you want to enjoy the game in a more "relaxed" state. In Australia, they serve alcohol during the game, and it's usually against the law to drink in public around the stadium, so tailgates don't make sense to Aussies. A bit of a cultural hiccup there. Unfortunately, the Aussie organisers under-estimated everyone's appetite and thirst, and under-catered, so many had to experience a disappointing part of Australian culture - one that sparks fear into the heart of every Australian - the "pub with no beer"
