First off let me say I am a big fan of his and think he is really inspiring his teamates to play better and totally leading by example with his work ethic. And in no way am I calling for him to be benched but I feel like I'm the one calling out the elephant in the room here? Granted we have kind of asked him to perform minor miracles in the last two minutes of games and you certainly have to take a few more risks at the end. However it seems to my untrained that he is getting tunnel vision on his reads in the 2 minute dirils and forcing balls with predictable results.

So basically if we are down with less than 4-5 minutes on the clock it's gonna be a total crapshoot, flip a coin, int or bust a td.

Flame away on me if it helps but I would like to find out if I'm missing something, hopefully from somebody with actual football knowledge who has re-watched and analyzed exactly what he might be doing differently at the end.

Btw let me know if this was a Booth (do we still use that term)?

It's hard to say. Against SDSU, we win the game if he hits Chad over the middle the play before the int. The pass is 1-2 feet too high, but the play develops perfectly. OTOH, the int's do look like a bit of panic, but who knows whether there's a mistake in the route or what.

Webb needs to do more misdirection on his passing. I tend to agree with you that when it comes to the 2 minute drill he has a tendency to be tunnel visioned. I would like to see him spread it around a little more as it seems that we have capable receivers. Stovall and Robertson are really starting to present themselves to be problems to the opposing Defensive Coordinators.
