Oregon Wazzu just starting 0-0 ..wazzu stopped the ducks on 4th down. USC up 14-6 on ASU 2nd Q...ASU has ball atm. Oregon really doesn't like points. Easy FG attempt there...decide to throw 20 yards downfield..overthrown.

So AL is in the Sun Belt in FBS. They knocked off Miss St. to start the season.

Lots of leftover talent in AL now that UAB got killed.

OK -- but that's actually worse. Better to play an FCS team at home than a Sun Belt team across the country on the road, IMO. I guess the AD got a home & home with Cal, so I can't complain too much.

Next week SC plays Colorado, might be a more interesting game than previously thought. Too bad it's at the Mausoleum.
