UW 2-0
WSU 1-0 (up by 16pts and driving vs OU late in the 3rd)
Furd 2-1
Cal 1-1
OU 0-2
OSU 0-1

Next week's schedule is interesting because all P12N teams play divisional foes:

Cal @OSU
UO @UW
Furd @WSU

Looks like Oregon narrowed it down to 10pts, hope WSU doesn't coog it...

All Pac 12 home teams won this weekend. It shouldn't be that strange but it could be a rare event

Either way, great win for the Bears and the defense.

Home field advantage has been big this year. Cal beats ASU at home, IMO. Same with SC and Utah, plus other games. Even Arizona gave Washington a game last week at home.

Which is why the USC game is so crucial. If our offense and defense can finally come together and deliver a complete game by then, I think we finally take down SC.

Cougs didn't coog it. 51-33. The stats in that game that stood out the most for me were the Cougs' 280 rush yds & 6 rush TDs. WSU and their leachy-raid after-thought run game did this.

Will Khalfani be back to 95-100% health by the 21st? Our home game vs the duckies could finally be the end of that streak.

Well, the USC game's on the road, so...

On the other hand, Oregon, UCLA and Stanford are at home -games that look a lot more winnable than they did coming into this season.

2 games into league play we control our own destiny, and it's starting to look like any of the remaining games on the schedule are winnable.

The oregon shadenfreude is always fun, but it would be great if they can manage to put it together and beat the mutts next week! They've picked up a lot of injuries at the Palouse.

Important note: we get UW, UO and Furd at home this year, so if we can somehow stay healthy and keep improving on D, we can be in the P12N mix!

Wsu has a bad field goal kicker. 0-4 this year. Three drives late in the game and they scored nothing. Ecause they didnot want to try field goals. They are NOT GOOD INSIDE THE 20

The home crowd probably loved every minute of it.

It shows you just how hard it is to win in the Pac 12 or anywhere for that matter. There is some luck in how your recruits turn out. I'm thinking Helfrich is going to be gone after this year. Their QB doesn't seem real good. No excuse for Oregon not to have a first rate dual threat QB.

Kelly is a hard act to follow, even if they fire Helfrich there is no guarantee they'll land another coach of Chip's caliber.

Oregon's signed their share of dual-threat QBs. It's just none of them have been/are Mariota or Adams-good. It's like how SC manages to sign a 5* QB that doesn't pan out almost every year.

On the other hand, how often do we have QBs like Goff and Webb come right after each other?

If they wait a year or two, they might be able to replace Helfrich with the actual hard act to follow.

I find it interesting that for as many 5* QBs there are that make it, the same can be said for non-5* guys. For every Rosen, there's a Goff, for every Watson, there's a Jackson, for every Winston, there's a Mariota, etc. Only shows how much of a crapshoot high school assessments are of quarterbacks.

On the long term, I don't think we've done too badly on the QB front. Since the beginning of the Tedford era, we've had Boller, Robertson, Rodgers, Ayoob, Longshore, Riley, Maynard, Goff, Webb. Of the nine, only three could be considered truly under-average starters -- Robertson, Ayoob, and Maynard, and even then, Robertson is a bit of a weird one considering he was overshadowed by Rodgers. A 66% success rate over nearly two decades isn't too bad quarterback-wise.

We have a chance to go 3-1 (2-0 in the North) with the Oregons coming up, and both teams struggling. I said chance, not that we will. I just hope we can to the $C game with 2 more wins. That would be huge.

The curse of the Palouse pertains mainly to WSU and not visitors given that since 2000, WSU has the 112th (of 128) strongest home field advantage in the country.
