Besides one scramble, Utah QB never ran, and there were zero designed plays for him to run

Maybe reports of him being duel threat were over stated? (I did see we had a spy on him most of the time)

I wondered about that as well as their use of Moss instead of Shyne in the final goal line assault.

According to the Utah fans he's very very afraid of being hit (as evidenced by his early slide on a prior drive). If he goes down their season is pretty much over. They have a true freshman behind him and then no one. Can't blame him myself since I wouldn't want to be hit by any of our kids, but it definitely helped us scheme against them.

Good points he sure didn't... I guess that means he respected our defense and was rattled throughout the game.

He was a zero threat not a dual threat- that last pass was on him as much as the receiver- no touch

Looked like we had a safety or lb spying him most the game. Last week the ASU QB ran a bunch and our guys beat the **** out of him. He somehow stayed in the game until about the second quarter of the SC game though. It was so obvious it was only a matter of time before the ASU QB would be visiting the doctor.

maybe so, but because of those ASU designed QB runs, cal lost

No he has looked good running in other games. Either something Cal was doing took that away or Utes had a different game plan.
