Furd will now drop Prof. Wilner's class and it won't show up on their transcripts.

Of course, leading the article with the $20mil debt link. And, I dispute whether the ute TE would have scored...he was on the 3 yard line and the lb was in close enough pursuit to stop him short, since the te was moving parallel to the goal line.

That is how I saw that play as well. The only way I see that TE having a chance at scoring is if the QB lofted the ball a bit toward the end zone to lead the TE in that direction, but then the catch becomes a bit more difficult.

He would have scored if the pass and catch were absolutely perfect. Think Barnes to Tony G. or Rodgers to Cross.

and if Webb had thrown perfect passes all day we win by 30....that's football....the pressure of the moment is not the same as in practice.

Hell just forze over. I don't recall Wilner even being interested in Cal until the last several years, and my impression is he is now getting it right more than any other Bay Area beat writer. Scary.

Well it is a pointless grade at pretty much any institution. If you're below a C, you don't pass so why differentiate between failing and failing miserably.
