Just hiking it 118 statistically would lead to a fumble from sheer volume.

Give it up for Ooms.
How many times has everyone moaned about snapping in prior years? Seems to be a complete non-factor this season.

Everyone understands why it's hard to find good QBs, because it's such a complicated and demanding position (both mentally and physically). But kicking a field goal has no variations, it's one play that takes technique and practice but no complicated decision making or variations. There are 14,000 high school football teams (I just looked it up), which means there are at least 14,000 high school place kickers every year, and they can't find 65 excellent kickers (65 P5 teams).

Charlie Strong going down in flames, meanwhile we run 118 plays in one game with no turnovers, ain't that something.

To be fair to Colorado, they were down to their third string kicker. I wouldn't spend that many scholarships on a kicker.

Ucla has given up more points to Utah in the first half than we did all game. Each game is so different

Somehow UCLA and Utah looks like its going to be a shootout. Wow.

Apparently before the season Stewart Mandel expressed his doubts about Oregon, Notre Dame, and Michigan State.
He spent this morning savaging Oregon, ND, and MSU fans by retweeting their responses to his preseason comments. I put together just the Oregon retweets, although they were all entertaining. (as always, read Twitter from the bottom up, although not that important with retweets)
