Ok so if any of you follow this show ...Abraham...no big loss. I was like ...ok..whew Glenn made it. Then Negan decided to go all extra psycho and whack Glenn and then I was like ...wait..no..hold on..you killed one already...you can't do two..wait..I need time...

If that wasn't bad enough..Negan has Rick nearly cut off Carl's arm..then was like..PSYCHE..your mine now!!! This episode left me with a feeling of USC/CAL 2004. Help.

So I have read all the comics (after getting hooked onto the show) and sort of lost interest last season because I knew what was going to happen. Negan was introduced for comic 100 as the biggest bad guy that made the governor look like a pansy and he kills glenn in a way that I thought to myself, "well if they do this for the show, they going to have to change it its way way way way way too gruesome."

So I end up looking for clips of what happen on youtube (because well, no need to expose myself to the show if I already know what happens) and get to the full clips ... and wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow.

They not only replicated glenn's death almost exactly but they made it way way way way way more sickening because of how real it is on screen. I thought to myself. This should not be on TV. Not even at night. Not even late late night. This is sickening.

Sad to see Glen go because he was one of the originals, but they almost killed him off earlier before getting backlash so I knew it was coming at some point this season.

I'm going to kind of miss Abraham more to be honest. I was over Glen and his little family.

Read The NY Times recap after watching the show and the recap and the comments were mainly in the "this is just way too gross" variety. What makes the show special is the psychological aspect of it and this whole brain bashing thing was just too much. Made me ill honestly.

Yeah, that scene was brutal. Pretty hard to watch

Agree 100%. AMC bleeps out profanity and won't show nudity, but they show that bludgeoning crap? Really? Violence porn if you ask me. I'm done watching that show...

I was done last year. The whole cat and mouse game for a handful of people makes no sense. Then NEgan reminds me of the sickos of 20th Century, commies and nazis. No thanks...

LMAO!!! Seriously...now I wonder if those turning of TWD are sunshine pumpers or negabears...I'm guessing the later as I fall more inline with the sunshine pumpers. I thought it was a great but yes grotesque episode. But they needed to do that to setup Negan as the worst of the worst. Mission accomplished.

Did you miss every other episode? We've seen tons and tons of people killed in every possible way. It's THE APOCALYPSE!

Glenn....nooooooo!

In the comix, Glenn was killed exactly this way. I was hoping the writers would deviate from the comix and keep Glenn alive but they followed the original plot line.

It was too much. It took pleasure in the gore and psychological torture. Crossed the line into torture porn.
