I was using chrome on my work pc and when I refreshed the screen, it says "Deceptive Site Ahead"

Same. Google Safe Search has flagged the forums, probably because of the recent issues with popups.
The stakeholders should request Google to review the site: https://developers.google.com/webmasters/hacked/docs/request_review
Same here via Firefox. Chrome did not give me the message.
I went ahead into the site ignoring the warnings and then sent message to Google that their Phishing Protection was sending False Warnings.
I had the problem on both Firefox and Chrome running on Windows 7 Professional. I also sent a message to Bearinsider.

both firefox and chrome for me. firefox gave me an option to bypass security warning...chrome did not.
Chrome will if you click on DETAILS.

You've got to have mainstream anti-malware (Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro) AND a good ad-blocker running on your laptop to be protected. On Android, Lookout & an ad-blocker. I'm not an iPhone user, so the iphone store will have top reviewed malware protection.
Don't be surfing the web at all, including this forum, with sonny dykes type of malware defense on your devise (i.e. no defense).

I had this happen here and there in the last year on one of my laptops but not the other.
We'll look into it asap but I don't think it's nearly as insidious as what we dealt with last week.

Getting it on Chrome, but not on explorer. Sigh. It never ends.
On Chrome, you can click on the detail link and opt to bypass their warning message. I'm sure it's just related to a warning from our recent issues.

I've just been clicking through. This is almost certainly a consequence of the previous issue with popups that has since been fixed. That period of time got BI put on a "list" they will now need to get themselves off of.

So the redirects from a google search for bearinsider redirecting to myfilstore.com are still occurring. Google's crawlers are detecting this and flagging the site. I have pointed this out previously.
As we suspected, we ended up on several block lists because of our prior problem related to a rogue advertiser. As before, please clear your browsing history so you're not accessing a cached page that brings up the block when you try to access our site.
Here's a message from the host duplex:
The www.bearinsider.com website has been removed from most of all block lists, except from the Yandex.
The warning about the site posing a threat will be removed from search results if the Yandex robot does not detect an infection during the next scan, which could take more than usual.
Your website is clean as none of malware scripts were found on new malware audit.

I think it is more accurate that their protection is sending "outdated" warnings, vs "False" warnings given the recent history of this site. CLEARLY the warning was correctly applied originally.sp4149;842839951 said:

ok, I've cleared all my cache (and everything else on Chrome) and rebooted and still can't get this to go away.
Yeah, same. We're still working on it.
The good news is it's related to the last issues and should be a much quicker and easier resolution.

I hit the warning earlier this morning on Firefox, but just now came to the site (again on Firefox) without the warning showing up...
Oh, or maybe it went away for me because I reported it as a clean site...
Still there on my iMac, but not on my iPad
Fixed on Mac/Safari.
my Avast was blocking me accessing the site. I stopped the https scanner called "Web Shield" for a fixed amount of time and it's allowed me to access the site on my PC.
