I'm waiting for someone to appropriate the name "Milkshake," the nickname of the sidekick on the TV show Dice. I'm dying to be able to refer to someone as Shake around here.

It's a great handle, no doubt. Though I lean toward the classics like Yogi and the intentional/unintentional double meaning and regional irony. It works on many levels.

I really like Cal Strong! It is a great message. Cal is a fantastic university and we should all try to live up to its high standards.

I also think Cal Strong Striong! is really a good one. She sure does seem to love Cal Strong's strength. We should all try to be more loyal and strong for our loved ones.

Regarding posting styles, at a time when perpetual and petty outrage seems to be the prevailing cultural zeitgeist, it's good to see that irreverence still has a pulse.

I always thought my handle was WEAK! compared to some of the clever names people came up with. But it's the one people know me by.

This is no mere contemporary phenomenon. It's the way it's always been. The only difference now is the diversity within society has spawned corresponding diversity of outrage.
