Going out on a limb, I'm guessing it might have been BlueBlood's 750,000th post advocating Cal leaving the PAC-12 to join the Mountain West Conference. Thinking that one might have finally tripped the line on repetitive posts.
Personally I don't think people really get BlueBlood, who I regard more as a performance artist /satarist than anything. Although I can't really know for sure what he is trying to accomplish with this Jihad (and I'll apologize to him in advance if this is off the mark) but I would speculate that Blue isn't really advocating we join the MWC because that would be a non-starter for every obvious reason. But what he is trying to do is to get Cal fans (and through them Cal) to face certain truths - namely that if we won't commit to winning and to the resources necessary to do so, we might as well just admit we aren't serious about football and quit from this level of competition. Playing to be "good enough" and not to win is an exercise in futility and a waste of our collective time and money. If we don't want to play then let's not. He could have advocated the Chicago model or the Ivey model to make this point but for whatever reason he's riding the MWC hobby horse.
Personally I think his point is well taken. But Blue if I may offer an unsolicited piece of advice - those who were going to get your point got it long ago and those who don't want to never will. Repeating this over and over again isn't going to change anything.
