Any idea where Brett Reade wants to go? Looks like a decent QB from the Monterey Bay.

Just saw Salinas lose to Placer High. The Salinas QB Is tall & runs fast & has a very good arm. Also has a wonderful pass receiver that gets great separation. Salinas was ahead 27-7 but Placer figured out how to slow there offense & won in overtime 43-42. My sophomore grandson a defensive end worked hard at putting pressure on him.

Sounds like he's worth a look by Cal's staff, then?

Congrats to your sophomore grandson and his team. Was that for state?

No that was for the NorCal championships. This Saturday at 6PM they play Crenshaw for the State title. Interesting that Placer only has four seniors & next year they were projected to be really good. They are young & enjoying the thrill of victory. My grandson next year should be a big running back.

Our last QB from Salinas (although he wound up at Hart HS like Boller) was ... Joe Kapp.
