I dont know if the staff has any preferred walk-ons lined up for this Fall (usually hush hush until on campus) but d like us to offer Iolani's Tai-John Mizutani as a preferred walk-on. Good size (6'3" 185), good academics, lead the state of Hawaii in passing and broke records playing for academic school against the big boys (ie running for his life) much like Iolani-Cal alum Joe Igber as a running back. Plays with that cockiness that many greats have. Not sure why he is not more highly sought after--maybe going on a mission (he's LDS)? He was skinny playing his first two years? His senior year Iolani was moved to DII? Plays baseball and basketball?

Hawaii signed Chevan Cordiero, the duel threat QB from Hawaii powerhouse and state champ St. Louis. BYU signed a couple of 3 star QBs, one from Utah and one from Texas.
