I thought he was doing well there.
Bring back It’s It’s to Haas Pavillion!
Once they signed the kicker and holder from Florida, the writing was on the wall. GT never really had a chance....oskidunker said:

Another reason to hate the Raiders. Adding it to the list. Good luck in Vegas boys, you are going to need it.
Actually 3 field goals- 40, 50, 56.ColoradoBear said:

Yep missed one. Can't get to 23 without 3 FGs.
Untelated the Giants are dumb. Really dumb. Two QB sneaks to burn 40 seconds of clock with an old ass QB. Shoulda sent Eli packing last year and kept Webb.
The Raiders should have never cut Georgio. He's much better than the other bums the Raiders have tried since Janikowski, including their current kicker. Georgio definitely has a career somewhere in the NFL.philbert said:
I posted this on the Insider Board earlier:
I really hope someone picks him up after Matt Bryant returns from his injury. Giorgio should be on an NFL roster somewhere. Also, Gruden is not very smart for cutting Giorgio. Giorgio's replacement has not been stellar...
Actually, they have 3 first round picks in the next two years. They would have been better to unload Carr and keep Mack and Cooper. Derek Carr is following the same career path as his brother David. Wouldn't be surprised to see him out of the NFL in 4 years.Another Bear said:
Da Raiders are unloading EVERYONE. Mack, Cooper, who else? Is Carr next?
On the flip side, they're stock piling draft picks. I think they have 2 first round picks in the next two drafts. They robbed Dallas blind.
Chuckie looks out of sorts but I think the real game plan was a gut job or tear down/rebuild from the beginning. It's going to be interesting to see who he picks and if he can coach again, because he's not coaching now.
Any way...good for Giorgio!
Derek Carr has a dead cap number of $32.5 million in 2018 which drops to $7.5 million in 2019 (compared to a $22.5 mil cap hit in 2019 if kept on the team). Not even sure one would even need to trade him to see benefits.Golden One said:Actually, they have 3 first round picks in the next two years. I think they should have kept Mack but Cooper is over rated and has a case of dropsies. Elite edge rushers are difficult to find and that's why Chicago gave him that big contract. The Rams wanted to sign him for year but Chicago stepped in. Imagine Mack with Donald and Suh as the DL.Golden One said:Actually, they have 3 first round picks in the next two years. Yeah, that would be a nightmare for QB's.Another Bear said:I think they should have kept Mack but Cooper is over rated and has a case of dropsies. Turns out Da Raiders have 3 first round picks in '19, and 2 more in 2020. It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out, and I'm not a Raiders fan.

This. They want to go, so go. Doesn't Las Vegas High School have a field? NO fans should show up to see them next year, if they stay here. Marshawn, Bearister and I can help man the blockade outside the Coliseum, if any idiots want to try and enter.ColoradoBear said:Another Bear said:

Playing for the future seems like a good financial plan when you have to sell tickets and psl's in your future city, not current one. Oakland should really sitck it to the Raiders and give them the boot after this year, unless the lease next year is truly financially advantageous.
It looks like they're following the Rams model: new city, new stadium, better team. It makes sense, winning will get fans in seats. That said, Vegas coughed up how much money, a state ballot initiative? Few places in Caloifornai will fund a pro sports stadium/arena, minus Santa Clara. I see that a good thing. Like billionaires need help funding private enterprise. You know FCCK that.ColoradoBear said:Another Bear said:

Santa Clara chipped in money for Levi's?Another Bear said:It looks like they're following the Rams model: new city, new stadium, better team. It makes sense, winning will get fans in seats.
