Hear hear. Now that I'm thinking about it some more, I'm not so sure if the Russians were not involved in that as well. Just think about it: stoking fear, hatred, and prejudices between blue-state and red-state institutions.

I hope Tedford kicks a field goal while up by 2 in the last 2 minutes of the game while at the 4 yd line on 4th and 1.

How can anybody (including CNN and the pollsters) rely on such predictions without also noting the statistical significance metrics of the poll? While the poll may indicate a 91% to 9% result it may only have a 10% confidence interval. No wonder the talking heads misinterpreted the data - they usually don't have all the data. Viewers should demand these metrics. Pollsters should state that their data can't be used without it. And, along with teaching financial literacy to kids in this country we should also be teaching out to interpret statistical statements.

For what it's worth, from the two ESPN prognosticators: one has Cal playing Iowa State in the Cheez-It Bowl and the other has Cal playing Iowa in the San Francisco Bowl.
