The guy threw four picks, all of which were his fault.BerlinerBaer said:

UNC lines were strong. Let's see how our lines do in the next couple of games.Uthaithani said:
Garbers by default. Bowers is not a good QB but Cal's QB problems fall on Baldwin and Wilcox.
Check that. The entire offense was poor all game. For crying out loud, you hand the ball off almost every play to one and only one RB and that guy didn't even get 100 yards rushing. And it's not like the defense didn't give the offense plenty of drives to work with. Even Wazzou can get more out of their running game than this.
So basically this vaunted OL can't pass protect or run block, the QBs can't throw and the receivers can't catch. What else is there to say about this offense? Nice uniforms, way to keep them clean?

Cmon man
That's just pure trolling
When you throw 4 picks, you're automatically last
Garbers or Bowers probably could have been more aggressive and forced throws too

And do remember who has had all the snaps, all the experience when comparing. One game does not a season make but this is Bwers#13 I think
Our OL absolutely sucked today. Both the run blocking and pass blocking were horrific. If this is as good as it gets, we're in for a long season.Uthaithani said:

They hardly let him pass the ball though.BerlinerBaer said:I was half joking.Yogi Bear said:The guy threw four picks, all of which were his fault.BerlinerBaer said:

To answer seriously, I think it's a three-way tie between our guys. You have to give Bowers the tiebreaker based on experience, although I see the most upside with McIlwain. He'd look a lot like the QBs Beau had up at EWU if he can develop.

Surprised the coaches bailed on Bowers so quick.
Woods and Kupp are no slouches. It's not like Kupp only broke out in the NFL. He has the most receiving yards and touchdowns in FCS history under the eye of...Beau Baldwin and Nicholas Edwards.hanky1 said:
WRs are never open. Baldwin needs to find more innovative ways to get his WRs open. Look at the LA Rams. Their receivers stink but they're always open cuz their coach knows how to scheme them open.
