I happened to look at the starting line ups for Cal and Stanfurd in the Phil Steele magazine. Steele lists the Prepstar rankings of each player
For those who believe high school rankings and stars are the main thing than Cal has no chance tomorrow. Virtually every Stanfurd player is highly rated while we have numerous unranked and our highest rated players would be some of the lowest rated Furd players.
Yet somehow we come into the game with the same record as the Furd's including a win vs Pac-12
Champ Washington.
So I will root on Justin Wilcox and our Cal Bears tomorrow knowing they will play their guts out win or lose.
And Stanfurd can go back to their antiseptic campus afterwards and continue underperforming for empty seats...hopefully without the Axe!
