Well that's a better landing place for CJ than duh Raiders!
CJ has experience getting to the Super Bowl despite poor QB play, so he can provide encouragement and maybe wisdom going into the playoffs even if Goff continues to struggle.

I knew he'd be good because he really wanted to get back in the league.
My guess is the Rams keep DJ on the roster through the playoffs. McVay said you're going to see a lot of Anderson.

Missed the first half. CJ looks good out there, making 1st downs. The fact that they're not really rotating the other backs in, it looks clear that they'll want to hang on to CJ even if Gurley is fresh for the playoffs.

CJ had himself a game today! He showed what he can do behind a good OL. He and Gurley will be a nice tandem in the playoffs. Happy for him and happy to see him and Goff have a good game today.

It looks like CJ plays just about every down except when he takes himself out. I believe it's because they don't trust the backups to do pass pro. McVay complimented CJ's quick pick-up of the offense, saying "you could tell he went to Cal Berkeley."

Sometimes McVay likes to throw in passing plays even when the running game is getting 5 to 6 yards at a time. And I say if the other team can't stop it, why change it up? In the playoffs, have Gurley and CJ split he load, 15 carries apiece and wear the other team down.

Actually I am looking forward to a Rams / Chargers super bowl. Great color schemes. Love having all those Cal announcements on the starters on offense to remind people we actually did have one at one time.
