Boy, 38 seems like a great O/U for this game... I mean it seems like spot on.

I have bet on a Cal game ONCE in my life. It was the 2014 Oregon game at Santa Clara. I was in Vegas for the game staying at the Cosmo and the sports book there had the O/U as 72. Seriously. It basically didn't move during the week and I thought what do "they" know I don't. This was Cal (with Jared Goff) and Oregon!!! I paced. I thought about it. Finally i pulled out a grand and went up to the window but just couldn't get myself to put that much on a game so put $500 on the over. Watching the game at the sports book felt really good when the combined first half score was 66! I was (am) such a rookie at betting as soon as we covered the over eaaaaarrrrrly in the 3rd qaurter i went up to collect not knowing you had to wait for the game to be official before you could collect your winnings :-)

As an aside, my high school biology teacher kept a horned frog in the classroom for a while. Nasty little bugger, always snapping at you if you got near. That's the frog who was nasty, teacher was great.

TCU's defensive numbers are excellent, and considering they play against Big 12 offences, their defense is probably the best we've seen this year. Our offence against a great defense is not a recipe for success.

I see a game with a TCU defensive touchdown, poor field position for us, and a butt-load of Baldwin ineptitude.

On the bright side; a bowl beat-down may force a change at OC.

I figure the losing team scores in the single digits. The winning team probably doesn't score 30. My big fear is defensive touchdowns.

Given both teams' O and D, the only prediction is Cal 1, TCU 0.

Our only point comes after we kick the extra point following a TD which is then overruled on replay, but an obscure rule lets us keep the PAT.
