Sooooo... that was... cripes... I don't know what to say about that. I guess it was slightly less painful for us to watch as it was for you? The defenses looked tough... the offenses... um... were... awful. But hey! You got to see our injured freshman QB for a series, so that was exciting, I guess?
Seriously, that was hard to watch. Your defense did it's job admirably. This was a total "Whose offense is going to screw up the least" game and unfortunately yours failed at just the wrong time.
When we went to overtime, I was sure you had us because I thought once we got to OT, ya'll would win out after we screwed up a field goal.
Anyway, I won't say that was a fun game, but it was... interesting. Hopefully our next meeting will be a better all-around battle.
Ya'll should really feel no shame in this. It was a battle of great defenses against two horribly inept offenses. The loss of your productive RB might have been just enough of a tilt in our favor.
And I really hope this doesn't come off wrong. I had to drink heavily to get through that mess and I'm just now sober enough to type without making a ridiculous amount of mistakes.
