I thought these teams were known for their defense. It's a shootout in the 1st half.
That makes sense, but their punter last year was the Seahawks 5th round draft pick in 2018; punters are rarely drafted. You wouldn't think a punter would choose Bama to showcase his talents either.B.A. Bearacus said:Probably makes sense that they would attract a top fg kicker -- and they probably usually do -- but if you're elite fg kicker it might cross your mind that being on the #76 team in field goal attempts per game (2018) might not be the best showcase of your talents or opportunity to hone your skills.IssyBear said:
How can Alabama, the #1 team in the country, have such a lousy kicker?

But Cal was #84, so who knows. Every team, including Bama, would kick more fgs of course, if their kicker turned out to be a stud.
Good point.bearister said:IssyBear said:

I believe it is the same answer you would get for why an NFL team that pays good money can end up with a lousy kicker.

If that doesn't make you wanna go see Imagine Dragons live, I don't know what will, because you obviously hate music.
Only if Cal joins the NFL.NVGolfingBear said:
Can we entice Clemson's WR Ross to transfer to Cal. With his catch radius he can catch any of Cals QB throws!
