Congrats! To Tony G for being elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a first year nominee!

He has been nominated 3 times(2016, 2017, 2018), and has yet to be voted into the college football hall of fame?

How's that?

He played for Gilby and one year for Mooch (ie the teams he played on had losing records overall). He had 8 TDs total in his college career. He was grossly underutilized until Mooch/Hue. His most memorable moment at Cal was in basketball, in the NCAA tournament after Ed Gray went down, especially his big game against North Carolina. He was a first rounder partly from the athleticism and potential he displayed. He is part of a too big list of guys that did more at the next level than they did at Cal, largely due to coaching.
