Can we start a separate thread on this or is that not cool? I mean a WSJ editorial titled "The College Admissions Racket" with a shot of Stanford as the lead, I mean that's rivalry fun, right? https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-college-admissions-racket-11552519849?mod=hp_opin_pos1

Weird I can see the Backhanded compliment spin that the Farm will put on this story. : "Stan-fraud is such a desirable school that rich people spend Big Bucks cheating to get in."
"Nobody wants to go to Cal badly enough to cheat to get in"

Again, as many have posted before. Getting into Cal is literally only half the battle, and its never been tougher than now. Staying and finishing with a strong GPA, quite another story.

You guys yuk it up all you want but I feel bad for the real victims of this admissions scandal: the poor inner-city minorities who were denied the chance to be rewarded for all of their hard work in sailing, rowing and water polo and assorted other country club sports with an admission to furd.

They are the invisible victims here and will probably never have a voice if not for us.
