ESPN gives us permission to drool over this wonderful comeback story, thank you ESPN for telling us where we should stand on the moral landscape.
You are going to single out ESPN while CBS had how many hours of getting Wood(s)? I've been to religious services that have less sanctimonious tones than the coverage Sunday. Cowherd, and the Fox Sports 1 people were any different than ESPN?
Golf=a lot of ruined picnic areas. Or, as John Feinstein said, a Good Walk Spoiled.
The Masters/Augusta National=within the lifetime of most here, was nothing but a club of White Men looking to hold onto their fiefdom; to the extent that I am giving them credit for changing is generous on my part.
Tiger=if he was in any other sport, would have been suspended at least at some part of his career, or would have a bigger black mark against him. Golf and Nike prayed hard for yesterday's moment. Nike sticking with Tiger was a "chips all in" move on their part.
That all said, my hypocrisy was at its high point yesterday: I still watched.
