Good point. But if she brought him over I'd count that as a hire, even though it's more like a half-hire. Heaven help Penn State if she ever has to replace him.

If you are a Cal fan, you are either very young or have a short memory. The worst AD in the history of college athletics was our very own - Bob (Program Wrecker) Bockrath. He single handily destroyed the Cal football program.
Joe Starkey said the same thing publicly on the air a few years ago. Both he and the above entry were right.
