The Popular Mechanics issue on Top 25 Best Looking College Cheerleaders is also very informative. However, the graphs, schematics, measurements and stats are over technical to the point of being confusing.

Many years ago SI did one of these. CMS was ranked 3rd behind UW and Michie Stadium (Army).

LOL @ #16 Colorado which seems to have been photographed during a thunderstorm delay.

I thought we should have allowed Colorado State and Utah State into the conference (not to mention Oklahoma and Oklahoma State) for geographic parallelism. It would have given us CSU and another beautiful venue to visit.

Interesting idea but then it would be difficult to divide the Pac-14 into 7 schools north and south since one pair of schools would have their rival in the other division.

memorial is estetically the best stadium in America

I had no idea Colorado State had a new stadium. Having gone to the game there back in whenever it was, I also don't recall it being off campus.

Also, Sun Devil Stadium has gone through a major renovation. They downsized, tearing down the endzone enclosed upper deck and it works really well.

He adds 4 teams (Colorado State, Utah State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State) for 16 teams.

I would divide that or a similar 16 team conference (maybe some Texas schools instead) into 4 divisions of 4:

California (Cal, Stanford, SC, UCLA), Pacific Northwest (UW, WSU, Oregon, OSU), Rockies (Utah and Colorado schools) and Wild West? (Arizona and Oklahoma schools).

You play your 3 division rivals plus 2 from each of the other 3 divisions (9 conference games). 2 best conference records (with various tie breakers) play in the CCG.

This would make the most sense & is in line with how the two other mega conferences have organized.

IIRC the expansion focused on recruiting Texas, which required Texas Tech as part of the package, and Oklahoma, which required OSU to come along with, and it was these two hangers on that pretty much rendered the Texas/OU expansion DOA.

In good weather Folsom is an amazing place for a game, however.

Design (Bowl, Sightlines, etc.)
Scenery
Tradition
Capacity
Intimidation (How often is it full)
Fame
Band

Great photo! One of the problems with photos of the stadium, including this one, is that none can capture both the view toward the west (campanile, bay, bridges, SF) and toward the east showing the hills and trees. I love how this photo capture the mood.
