UFC countdown at the bottom of the page taking up 1/4 of the screen ?

It makes the board unreadable.

Is there a way to get rid of it ?

If the "Post New Reply" modal is too long (due to quoted text) you can't even click the Post button. Plus nothing on the footer can be clicked.

Commercialists whine about Ad Blockers but they're stimulated by sites that have inadequate restraint on their ads. Crap like this makes me want to block this site's ads.

CB, hit the minimize "button" on that reply window. Doing that now, and that seems to always expose the "Post"" button...

LOL. I tried to minimize to respond to the prior post with the quote and reply, but still couldn't get to the post button. This post works only because I didn't quote the post I was replying to.

This needs to get fixed

Hmm... Still works for me. Mac, Brave browser....

Maybe related of the size of your screen?

I ran into the same problem when replying in another thread. I couldn't reply with quoted material because the Post button was hidden under the ad. Post without quoting and it works. I found I could make the ad even bigger but couldn't shrink or remove it. In response to this, I'm boycotting the Pay Per View. I wasn't going to buy it anyway, but now I have a better excuse.

Windows 10 and Chrome here. It's a work computer so I don't have much control of the settings.

The reply window minimize still works for me as a work-around...

Ublock origin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UBlock_Origin), right click, block element. As a bonus it blocks most ads automatically, and can get around most paywalls.

It wasn't auto blocked, so it's the site trying to get around blockers.

Heads up, this is why I block all tracking (ghostery) and ads on BI. The malware and ads like this is bad for user ID and experience. I would LOVE to whitelist BI, but it is literally the worst site I frequent in terms of malware and bad ad experiences.

OK, that works for me too. I thought if I minimized the posting window, it would completely disappear. I was wrong.

Aside from posting this is annoying as hell and I can't get rid of it on my work computer.

The ad appears to be gone, so I guess someone in a position to do something about it got rid of it.

Strangely I use an ad blocker (AdBlockerPlus) and still had the ad. Was it somehow un-targeted? I don't have a problem with ads, just allowing an internet company to spy on be through my browser. I would even say that an ad blocker isn't actually an ad blocker but foreign script blocker/cookie blocker.

If a website could deliver ads that were NOT tracking via scripts, I wouldn't have a problem with that. It would be just like magazine ads or newspaper ads...

That said, what kind of tiny screens to you all have? That ESPN+ as was a small banner that took up like 1/10 of the screen at the bottom and was the exact size of the F5 Sports footer that regularly graces BI.
