Don't want to get into the politics of whether the players should or shouldn't the playing, but If there is a season, is there any chance Bynum can come back? I heard other schools who have had players leave for the NFL due to the cancelation of the season are coming back. One from Michigan. Thoughts?

As long as he hasn't signed with an agent. There's a chance that the NCAA might offer exceptions for this season but that's really unlikely (JMO). Reshod Bateman has been having this issue in the B1G, he's a projected first rd draft pick who wants to opt back in and play for Minnesota this season.

It's looking like he and PSU LB Micah Parsons (projected top 10/15 draft pick for now) and the other handful of players who signed with agents will be S.O.L though. In the Pac-12 that includes nikeU OL Penei Sewell, a top-5 projected draft pick who would have been their only returning OL starter from their P12 championship last season

I would think the NCAA has to be as liberal as possible as players were making decisions on an uncertain season. It would be pointless to be strict now.

There was really no rush for players to opt out. It's not like the NFL draft was imminent. Seems that players could have waited it out for a while, and opted out later (like Nov.) If it looked like the season would definitely be pushed back to late Dec. or Jan. So, I say, live with your rash decision.

If a player wants to play, he will be given the opportunity to do so. A couple Ohio St. guys have already opted back in.

By the way, there is a precedence for a player signing with an agent, participating in the NFL combine, going through the NFL draft (unselected and unsigned as a free agent) and having his eligibility restored. The ASU punter did exactly that and will be on the field this year.

Cal Strong think it impossible unless Cam Bynum enrolled in classes.

Would not be surprised if he did. We shall see.
