Sounds like the WSU QB tested positive today. Might be out next week too since it seems to take ~10 days to clear positives. Plus WSU is under 53 which makes it a lot harder to get back to anywhere near full strength in a week.

Plus Furd can't play CU since they just lost to them.

Snide remark that shows ignorance of the situation. You do get the issue was not the number of days, but somehow COB concluding that contact meant everyone in a position group, including 2 guys that had recovered from COVID and showed antibodies. Do a little compare and contrast, when the Furd QB got the false positive, no one took out the entire QB room, just Mills' roommate. Yo comprendo? If you don't, at least the COB now does.

Edit: Cal had one player test positive before the OSU game and did not use a whole unit (they did lose some starters off the oline - the player with COVID and his two roomates due to contact tracing). They would have let the entire oline under prior COB approach. OSU also impacted by COVID.

The missing online players will impact the Big Game possibly more.
