He was always an exceptional athlete, explosive yet smooth... now he's got the skill to match.

For those wondering, he had 33 points in 19 minutes.

However, I am not sure that's a record.

When Kobe (RIP Mamba!) scored 81 points he had 27 points in the third and 28 in the fourth quarters (just 12 minutes each).

I have to imagine he had more than 6 points in the first 7 minutes of the 4th quarter - or more than 5 in the last 7 minutes of the 3rd quarter.

That was a great night by Kobe (RIP) but I think the under 20 minutes thing might not be about any 20-min stretch in the game..

I think it might mean the most points while playing under 20 minutes total in the whole game, which is what Brown did Sunday night against the Cavs.

In Kobe's 62 point game against Dallas he accomplished it in 3 quarters, playing just under 33 minutes and outscoring Dallas by himself 62-61 up to that point in the game.
