Kelly had elite post footwork even in HS

don't know who on the past coaching staff identified him for Cal, but they found a gem

Kelly is our best player in the Advanced Stats.

Our core 4 should be Brown, Bradley, Grant and Kelly with the 5th player depending on matchups. And that could be Lars against big teams.

I can't see giving Betley the minutes he is still getting.

Comparing conference stats of Betley (left) and Celestine (right):
FG%: .315 .412
3FG%: .296 .417
rebounds per 30 min: 3.52 3.67
AST/TO: 0.59 1.67

Hard to compare free throws - Betley's FT% is excellent at .810 but Celestine has attempted only 2 (made 1).

And according to my eyes Celestine is a better defender.

And Betley is a grad transfer while Celestine is a freshman and the future to be developed.

In conference of the guys who have played significant minutes our best WS/40:
1. Kelly .125
2. Bradley .064
3. Foreman .063
4. Celestine .055
5. Thiemann .050
6. Anticevich .048
7. Thorpe .042
8. Brown .041
9. Hyder .035
10. Betley -.018

But back to the OT, Kelly is the guy that has deserves to play much more than he has so far in his Cal career.
