Welcome to the board, Mr. Phillips! Thanks for the entertain video. Jamari is certainly one to watch.
Patience is a virtue, but I’m not into virtue signaling these days.

Last men's hoopster from Modesto-Christian, Sir Richard Midgely?

I couldn't get his NCAA first round game winning shot in 2003, but this was good:

Midge, Tamir, Powe, Ubaka, McGuire, Kately, Benson, wut?

Great to get on him early. But he looks a little too good. That jumper is beautiful, and he has three years to get the release point to be a little higher. Or not, given how quick his release is.

everyone shoots 100% in a highlight video, but what I see is:

- confident shooter with unlimited range
- text book catch and shoot form which results in a quick release ... watch that he catches the ball with his feet already in position for his shot. H e doesn't have to reposition is feet and body after the catch
- can shoot on the move
- bouncy

what this video doesn't show, so can't evaluate:

- his handle
- midrange game - slashing and finishing, mid-range jumper, floater, step back

Tons of potential

- step back (although I think there has one in the video)

All true, but for a freshman? Very, very unusual. His fundamentals put him in a position to be as good as he wants to be. I don't need to see more to know where he is headed.

Agree, hence my conclusion "tons of potential "

You are doing a great job Mr. Phillips! I hope Jamari chooses Cal but wish him well wherever he ends up.

yikes ... that jump over the chairs looked very dangerous, but he cleared it like it was a hurdle
