How long do you want to ignore this user?

I read the thread title and thought this video was going to be a "Rick Steves".

"Most traveling calls should be made when the official is at least 50 feet away from the alleged violator.
Traveling is most likely to occur during a nationally televised game when the official is alone at mid-court, thus guaranteeing an unobstructed camera shot." - Dave Libby

having done a little amauteur officiating, I find the travel call extremely tough to make.

factors that make it tough are:

- what is a gather step, vs the allowed 2 steps
- contact that makes this even more unclear
- all the new moves players use today ... think Harden
- my understanding of the travel rule ... I am not always 100% sure I understand it correctly... for example, the step through rule
- just the general difficulty of officiating such a fast, chaotic, game with so many other rules to watch for at the same time
