For completeness, I should mention that the author has Cal ranked at 119 (surprisingly high), one spot higher than TCU (makes up for them beating us in FB, I guess), and one spot behind noted powerhouse North Dakota St.

I was a big fan of Vanover at Cal. That said, in that photo, he doesn't look like he's spent a lot of time working out the past couple of years (looks can be deceiving, but... ). Maybe that explains his lack of PT at Arkansas. What's that thing on his leg? Has he been injured?

That's Gheorghe Muresan, right? I walked by him at an airport about 20 years ago, I wanna say in Europe. WAY taller than anyone else I've ever been near (listed at 7-7). Of course, he was no Robert Wadlow...

I knew Robert Wadlow, Robert Wadlow was a friend of mine, Gheorghe Muresan is no Robert Wadlow.

*That guy above (and below) is Turkey's Sultan Kosen who is 8-foot-3 (and probably moves laterally better than Vanover)
