We'll always have Paris

Back in the day, I posted the above phrase more-or-less randomly during
basketball-game-threads.

Meanwhile,

I've been silently following the (mis)fortunes of CAL's football and basketball teams.
Well, to be honest, I also follow the swim teams......which is somehow more fulfilling.

I know this is a men's basketball forum, but it is a shame Cal women's basketball couldn't get the Paris twins.....

Nice guy

The best players on the 2004-2005 team, based on the advanced stats, were 1. Rod Bentsen and 2. David Paris

I wished David Paris played for football for Tedford. 6'9" 260 he would have been an great TE blocking for Marshawn Lynch or catching Aaron Rodgers' TD passes to beat SC and going to and winning the National Championship. He'd be a Cal legend.

And the Paris twins would have come to Cal.

I don't think he was even listed at 6'9" by Cal. (Yes, I saw the height listed in the link, but seriously.)

That'd be a nice where-are-they-now story: David, Ashley and Courtney

He was, but then there was a digression to the Paris Twins and David.

Paris Austin got his Cal degree last year. I remember an article saying he was going to pursue playing overseas and then become an Oakland firefighter.

You're actually pretty close. I put my mathematical background to good use in a "facility" quite similar to
Shawshank Prison.

You too can escape,

Lord, it's a miracle! A man up and vanished like a fart in the wind.

Remember his last game? In a win over Furd, Paris totally outplayed their hotshot PG?

Oakland Firefighter.......good for him. Maybe Marshawn will (If he isn't already) become an advisor.

Go Paris! Wouldn't be surprised if he has a rapid rise in the OFD ranks. Hope the program maintains a relationship with and supports him.
