I've always liked Lunardi.
BTW - We will be looking at the same slot next year ;-)
I'm willing to wait and see. Maybe our freshies will turn out better than expected. Maybe out 2022 recruiting will pick up. Maybe Fox will show us how to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

My heart is with Lunardi's prediction, for sure: Cal will not finish last in the conference this season. Rather, a lofty tenth!
Utah, UW and Cal are the three likely BDWs.
Utah blew up their program firing Krystkowiak. Good players left but some good players coming in. They are a wildcard.
UW finished just above us last year, but they are getting a lot of incoming talent. Two 4 star big men, including The #1 JC player, Langston Wilson, the #2 ranked player,#1 power forward in the cointry, plus a bunch of other high ranked transfers, including Daejon Davis from Stanford. They are more likely to move up than go down.
