Here he is more recently. Number 22 in white. Good size and movement. Need to become a little more active and to develop his basketball skills. Reminds me of Thorpe among recent players, but will come in at a higher level.

One good signing does not a good coach make. Fox had Caldwell-Pope at Georgia and that still didn't do much to move the needle.

Well, his quotes seem to suggest certainty. Thankfully, with the early signing period in November, it's not one of those cases where he can see the season before he signs (which has caused a big issue on the FB side ).

Why do you think that the naysayers are unhappy? And how long have you been following this recruit such that his commitment is something you feel should "quiet the naysayers"? You think this staff is playing 4D chess instead of just whiffing on every priority target?

I'm not knocking the "naysayers" Speaking only for myself:

There's a surreal, dream-like quality to this whole thing....I just want to feel good about it for however long the "the dream" lasts........always keeping in mind that

Don't get me wrong - I too would love for the Bears to excel on the court. I wish it so, tho I also recall what Bad Santa said about wishing. But I just don't see the need to silence the naysayers - I'd say they have some pretty legitimate gripes.
