As a reminder for the upcoming Men's Basketball game on Tuesday, November 9th, all afternoon mid-week game parking passes will only be valid for the 4th level of Underhill Garage. There will be spots specifically reserved for basketball parking
Go Bears!

The City of Berkeley's garage on Center Street is $2.50 per hour. Nice walk to Haas from there.

The church at Dana and Durant is probably $5

I always park for free somewhere on the street on southside (never been to a 2 PM game on a week day, with school in session). This should be interesting, especially if it's raining.

Can't wait to see the Bears play again in Haas though!

I have also been lucky with street parking but with two hour limits in most places it would be difficult.

Exactly, it is the fact is a weekday afternoon game that makes this tough, parking wise. That is why I suggested the Center Street garage.

At 1:30 PM on a day when classes are in session, are garages near campus going to have spots?

I was thinking Center Street which is away from Cal classes (but close to Haas), but Berkeley City Collrge students do park there, mostly in the morning though.

Anyway, I took a gamble and parked on the street on southside, in a two hour zone.

I was parked there for 2 hrs, 45 min. No ticket. Cal lost, but I won!

Will they be top third in the conference? If so, I'm in.

We parked on the East side of Shatttuck south of Dwight Way. Lots of empty spaces, metered, and we paid for 3.5 hours. About a 6-7 block walk to Haas.

It's funny, we took BART and had intended to use free street parking. After we were on the train, it suddenly occurred to me that out of habit (from evening or weekend games), we had pulled into the BART parking lot and didn't pay for parking. Luckily, we didn't receive a parking citation.

I believe their primary concern in the BART lots is charging the morning commuters. As the lots empty out in the afternoon, they kind of don't care. (Don't blame me if you get a ticket next time though! )
