Thank goodness we can huddle under the umbrella of Mark Fox's Cal basketball for a couple of hours and escape the stinging downpour that is Cal football. Right?!?

The cheapest (not best but still good) El Puebla on Birmingham off the 5 in Cardiff-By-The-Sea. $.99 fish tacos live on!
I did love the carne asada fries at The Taco Stand.

On offense, there's nothing surprising about being out of sync in the first half of the first game.
Inconsistency of effort on defense is disappointing. Hopefully that effort will improve.

UCSD's head coach has spent his entire coaching career on the UCSD staff. He graduated college in spring 2004 and joined the UCSD staff as an assistant that fall. He's been the head coach since the 2013-14 season. In their last season in Division II, 2019-20, the team was 30-1. (The NCAA tournament was canceled in 2020, of course.)

Hire him mid-game and send fox packing. This is a well coached team with decent talent. We are a poorly coached team with underutilized talent.

Yes, and I don't think it is because UCSD is dramatically improved.
I love the guy but Joel still has no offensive game. Oh boy.
